Setting up the wheels
The accompanying illustration shows the components and how to set up the calculation wheels. Each calculation wheel for the three times of day is set up according to this drawing.
The interaction of the three upper discs allows the therapeutic factors to be preset. The presetting procedure is described in detail on the following pages.
The Presetting is done in three steps
1. Set the CHO ratio and the correction factor. Fix the settings using the fixing pin.
2. Fill out the sealing label provided for each wheel.
3. Stick the label onto the corresponding wheel.
